Laura Dickinson is a Fashion Educator and Interdisciplinary Artist blending fashion, music, spoken word and film. Her work uses media as a tool, forming connections between public and social issues. Current and ongoing projects include “There’s Still Life Here” – focusing on urban gentrification in the east midlands and how we can use arts within communities to educate and co-create social policy. Laura has exhibited work at Beta-X and LCB Depot and undertaken residencies with No Jobs in the Arts and Primary, Nottingham where she has developed a body of audio-visual work that she has performed across the UK.
